How to use MCOL to respond to a claim

If you want to respond to this claim online, you should:

You will be able to view the claim status, view the options available to you and choose how you wish to respond.

If you wish to use MCOL to respond, the system will ask you to complete a series of screens. Each screen will deal with a specific piece of information that is required, for example, your full name and address or the details of your defence.

The information you provide will be used to electronically complete the court forms included in the response pack. These will then be transmitted to the court for processing. If you use this service, you do not need to complete the paper forms.
