The Technology and Construction Court Listing Policy

During the Legal Terms, Judges of the Court hear trials on Mondays to Thursdays inclusive, beginning at 10.30 a.m.

Applications of 30 minutes in length or less are heard on each working day at 10.00 a.m.

Longer applications are heard on Fridays.

Details of the Listing for trials for the following week can be obtained each Thursday afternoon between 2.30 and 3.30 in Room 308, St. Dunstan's House. Telephone: (020) 7947-7429

During Vacations, a Vacation Judge sits at 10.00 a.m. on each Wednesday to hear urgent applications.

Each case is assigned by Rota to a named Judge for Case Management.

On the first hearing of the Case Management Conference, a fixed date is normally given for trial. The judge to whose list the case has been assigned for Case Management will normally hear the trial, but sometimes that will not be possible.

If there is no judge available to hear the case on the appointed date for trial, the case will be held for one week for refixing before the fixture is cancelled by the Court to be relisted as a Priority case.

While every effort is made to ensure that each case is heard on the date fixed at the Case Management Conference, there can be no guarantee that every case will be heard on the date originally fixed for trial. The availability of judges cannot be guaranteed.
